Garden City Public Schools

1. Each entry must bear only one student’s name.
2. Only posters on 18” x 24” oak tag of any color in “portrait” orientation are acceptable.
3. Artistic media: only felt tips, watercolors, oil or acrylic paints, pastels, colored pencils, Crayons™ or collages
4. The use of computer for graphics, lettering or designs is not permitted, nor are 3D effects.
5. All work must be original.  Figures, slogans, etc. protected by copyright are not permitted.
6. The LILT Poster Contest Theme must appear in English on the poster. In addition, other languages may be used. Any orthographic and/or grammatical errors will disqualify the entry.
7. Include the following information ONLY on the BACK of the poster:
   • student’s name and grade
   • current, classroom teacher’s name
   • school name and address
