In preparation for the 2026-2027 school year, the Garden City Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting on July 1.

During the meeting, the board elected Kristen Pappas as president and Joseph Sileo as vice president for the 2026-2027 school year. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kusum Sinha was also sworn in.

The district looks forward to the leadership of the board of education in the year ahead.
