Garden City High School student to perform in Roger Rees Showcase

Garden City High School student Madeline Power has been selected to advance to the prestigious Roger Rees Showcase.
The Roger Rees Awards recognize excellence in high school musical theatre performance and production across the Greater New York area, honoring students for outstanding achievement in acting, vocal performance, dance and technical theatre. Nominees are selected from thousands of students who participate in adjudicated high school productions throughout the year.
From this highly competitive pool of nominees, only 50 students are chosen to advance to the Roger Rees Showcase. Power’s selection places her among the region’s most accomplished young performers and reflects her exceptional talent, dedication, artistry and professionalism. As part of the showcase experience, she will participate in intensive rehearsals and performances alongside leading theatre professionals and fellow student performers from across New York.
The district congratulates Power on this incredible honor and achievement.
