Two Garden City High School students named New Faces Honorees by the Roger Rees Awards

Garden City High School students Tessa Frascogna (dance) and Kate Koczko (voice) were selected as New Faces Honorees by the Roger Rees Awards, a prestigious program that celebrates outstanding achievement in high school theater across the region.
The New Faces Honors for Excellence in Solo Performance recognize 30 students in grades 9–12 who demonstrate exceptional dedication, talent and growth in acting, dancing or singing. As honorees, Tessa and Kate join a select group of young performers who have distinguished themselves through both their artistry and commitment to their craft.
In addition to this recognition, the program provides students with access to valuable educational experiences, mentorship opportunities and potential scholarships, helping to support their continued development in the performing arts.
Their selection highlights not only their individual accomplishments, but also the strength of Garden City High School’s theater and performing arts program.
