Garden City High School students showcase creativity at annual AP Art Show

On April 21, Garden City High School hosted its annual AP Art Show, the capstone event celebrating the artistic journeys of AP Studio Art students. Throughout the year, students develop a cohesive body of work centered on a unifying theme or personal investigation, refining both their technical skills and creative voice.
In preparation for the exhibition, each student curates a 4-by-8-foot display board, thoughtfully selecting, matting and framing their pieces in a professional gallery style. This process encourages students to reflect on their growth and present their work with intention and pride.
The result was a stunning exhibition, where each display told a deeply personal story and offered insight into the artists’ perspectives. The space was transformed into a vibrant gallery filled with creativity, individuality and expression, highlighting the dedication and vision of Garden City High School’s artists.
