Garden City School District holds ribbon cutting ceremonies in honor of new fields
Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, the Garden City School District has been hard at work renovating its baseball and softball fields, while also adding a new multipurpose field to enhance athletic and community use.
The culmination of this effort was marked by three ribbon-cutting ceremonies held this April, where student-athletes, coaches, district officials and community members gathered to celebrate the official opening and use of these newly upgraded facilities. The events highlighted not only the completion of the projects but also the excitement surrounding the opportunities they will provide for years to come.
The district extends its sincere gratitude to the Garden City community for its continued support of its athletic programs. These improvements would not have been possible without the commitment and investment of Garden City residents, whose dedication helps ensure that student-athletes have safe, modern and high-quality spaces to learn, compete and grow.
