Garden City High School to present ‘Footloose’
Cut loose and kick off your Sunday shoes! Garden City High School invites the community to experience the energy of “Footloose” on March 12 at 4 p.m. and March 13 and March 14 at 7 p.m., as the school’s talented students bring this beloved musical to life.
“Footloose” took the world by storm with its unforgettable music, topping the Billboard charts and producing iconic hits such as “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” “Holding Out for a Hero” and the title track audiences know and love. After lighting up the big screen, the show debuted on Broadway in 1998 and has been getting audiences on their feet ever since.
Packed with high-energy dance numbers, powerful vocals and plenty of heart, “Footloose” is a performance you won’t want to miss. Get ready to clap along, sing out loud and celebrate the power of music and dance.
