Garden City Public Schools

On Oct. 28, Garden City High School senior members of the National German Honor Society visited Garden City Middle School German classes to lead an interactive presentation on German holidays, with a special focus on Oktoberfest.

Following the presentation, the high school students led a game centered on the festival and shared the traditional chicken dance, which quickly became a favorite activity. The middle school students were excited to meet and learn from their older peers and invited the high school visitors to stay for lunch.

The experience was equally rewarding for the high school honor society members, who enjoyed sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the German language and culture with younger students.
