Online Payment Information for Advanced Placement Exams
Dear Families:
Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important and required part of all AP courses. For the 2022 AP exams, students at Garden City High School have been registering online through the College Board website, and will be paying for their exams online using a separate website called Total Registration. This will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer or mobile device with internet access. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered and paid for. This year each AP exam costs $98.00. Students requiring financial assistance should contact Mr. Connor Cohn, cohnc@gcufsd.net, at Garden City HS to learn more.
Online Exam registration will begin on Saturday Oct 2nd, 2021 and end on Monday Oct 25th, 2021. In order to register, students should click on the link provided on the school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/332040 to register. To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end is printed. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment. Please make one final note; students must NOT use their gardencity.k12.ny.us email account to register on Total Registration, and make sure they use the same email account to register for the exam on both Total Registration and College Board websites. Utilizing a Gmail account will make the process more efficient for students and families.
Here are the important dates for the registration process:
- Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at 12:01 AM - Registration Begins
- Monday, October 25th, 2021 at 11:59 PM - Registration Ends
- Friday, Oct 29th, 2021 at 11:59 PM - Registrations that have not been paid for will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.
