Immunization Information
Information on Immunization Law/Changes
The New York State Department of Health is no longer permitting nonmedical exemptions for school vaccinations requirements for children attending day care and pre-K through 12th grade in New York State. Children who have previously been granted nonmedical exemptions must now be vaccinated to attend or remain in school.
Medical exemptions will still be granted to children who have a medical condition that prevents them from receiving a vaccine. This must be certified by a licensed New York State physician.
