Chris is entering his fifth year at Garden City High School. He joined Garden City Athletics through his affiliation with Winthrop University Hospital. Chris graduated in 2009 with his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Hofstra University. As an undergraduate, Chris was the first Hofstra student to be awarded Iota Tau Alpha. Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training education Honor Society recognizes the promotion and encouragement of scholarly activity in athletic training and the recognition of outstanding achievement among students enrolled in athletic training education programs. While achieving this accomplishment, he also joined the New York Jets Athletic Training Staff. When asked about his experience with the Jets, Chris will always say that it was a memorable experience, where he learned how to accomplish many tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
Being a part of Garden City Athletics and the winning tradition it has is an honor. Chris enjoys working closely with the high school athletes because of the unique setting the high school brings. Even through the long days that he might encounter, Chris always loves to be of assistance to the Student Athletes. It allows him to witness the maturation of the student athletes through the course of their athletic careers.
As well as being the Athletic Trainer for Garden City High School. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and New York State Athletic Trainers Association (NYSATA), as well as serving as the Past President of the Section Eight Athletic Trainers Society (SEATS).
