• INTRAMURALS ARE OPEN TO ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

    ALL INTRAMURALS ARE HELD ON CAMPUS AND RUN FROM 7:30AM – 8:05AM  

    The vision of the Intramural Sports program is to provide students with a variety of recreational opportunities that allow them to become engaged in healthy competition while developing and maintaining character, integrity, and sportsmanship.  

    THE GCMS INTRAMURAL SCHEDULE IS BELOW:
     

    There will not be any before school intramurals the week of 3/9-3/13.

    If interested in taking part in the basketball tournament event please see the details listed below:

     

    1. The first 8 Teams (4 Teams per division each made up of 4-5 players per team) that reply will be chosen to take part in this event. Teams that do not get into this tournament will be placed on a waiting list in the order that they reply in case a team drops out. Deadline to reply will be by Wednesday 3/11 @ 9:00PM. 
    2. All accepted teams will be notified on Thursday 3/12 by 3:30PM. Please note that you must form your own COMPLETED team prior to replying.
    3. In the reply you must submit the following information…

     

    • YOUR TEAM NAME

     

    Player 1 Name and Grade

    Player 2 Name and Grade

    Player 3 Name and Grade

    Player 4 Name and Grade

    If there is a Player 5 Name and Grade

     

    • Which division you would like to take part in….
      • Maroon Division which will compete Monday and Wednesday Mornings on 3/16, 3/18, 3/23, 3/25, 3/30, 4/1
      • Gray Division which will compete on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings on 3/17, 3/19, 3/24, 3/26, 3/31, 4/2
    1. Accepted teams must be prepared to report to the big gym no later than 7:30 on the dates mentioned above.

     

    1. The Championship Day will take place on Monday 4/6 at 7:30 (Winner from Maroon Division will play the winner from the Gray Division)

     

    1. Teams will play between two-three games per day (7:30-8:00) and will earn 3 points for a win, 2 points for a tie, and 1 point for a loss. A team that does not attend on a given day will receive 0 points for each game played that day.
